Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Full-Time 5 Ton Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at our Grand Prairie location. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory, ensuring smooth warehouse operations, and supporting the distribution of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically fit, understands safety protocols and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties Load, unload, and secure products to prevent damage during transportation. Inspect shipments for accuracy before delivery. Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and maintain delivery records. Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and hazardous materials regulations . Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery delays to supervisors. Provide professional customer service and resolve basic delivery-related inquiries. Receive and inspect incoming shipments; ensure that all products are correctly labeled and stored. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure products are easily accessible. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks using manual and powered equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner. Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to management. Assist in the preparation of orders for dispatch. Support warehouse team with various tasks as needed. Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Comfortable working on your feet for long periods. Forklift certification is an asset but not mandatory (training can be provided). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Capable and confident in safely operating a 5-ton, 35-foot truck while transporting dangerous goods in compliance with all applicable safety regulations Previous delivery driving experience preferred. Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
