Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant

Terrene, Inc. currently has a Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant position available for an individual looking to grow with our company. Preferred Skills: Experience with driving, loading, and unloading a transit van. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to operate a forklift (training provided). Ability to lift 50 pounds. Mechanical aptitude is desired. Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Basic computer literacy. Motivated to learn shop skills. Willingness and ability to perform various types of manual labor. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Plan out and execute daily delivery schedule. Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards. Work closely with other team members to ensure orders are complete and accurate before the customer receives them. Help to deburr and package parts/orders as needed to facilitate production schedule. Perform other shop duties and special projects as assigned. As you learn the skills of your position, more opportunities will become available to you. Preferring to promote from within the organization, past team members have risen in the company to fill department lead and management positions. This is a full-time position. Compensation is informed by your experience, and you will receive a 90-day salary review. We provide health insurance and vision insurance to our full-time team members.
