Delivery Driver / Sales Representative / Route Manager Seattle Area Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday Days Off: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday Company Vehicles — No CDL Required About the Opportunity Kalama Sourdough Bakery is expanding into the Seattle area, and we’re looking for a dependable, motivated person to help us grow. You’ll be one of the main faces of our company—delivering fresh bread, introducing shoppers to our products, and building strong relationships with store teams. We need someone who takes pride in excellent work, enjoys talking with people, and can take ownership of a route without constant supervision. How the Role Will Develop Initially, your four-day schedule will include: Two days of deliveries: Deliver bread, service accounts, and build relationships with store managers. Two days of in-store demos and sales: Offer samples, introduce customers to our breads, and help increase sales at our partner stores. As the route grows to support four delivery days per week, the position may develop into either: A four-day delivery and route management role , or A four-day demo and sales role , with another driver handling deliveries. We’ll discuss the best fit based on your strengths, interests, and the needs of the business. What You’ll Do Delivery and Route Management Safely operate non-CDL company vehicles, including box trucks and vehicles towing trailers. Complete daily vehicle safety inspections before driving. Load, unload, and verify orders to ensure accurate deliveries. Plan and follow efficient routes and deliver on schedule. Keep products organized and properly handled. Work with store teams to monitor inventory, adjust orders, and manage returns and credits according to company procedures. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized, and promptly report maintenance needs. Communicate clearly with the bakery when delivery issues or customer needs arise. In-Store Demos and Sales Set up, conduct, and clean up product demonstrations. Offer samples and engage shoppers in friendly, professional conversation. Learn our products and confidently explain what makes our breads special. Follow store sampling requirements and food-handling procedures. Build relationships with store managers and department staff. Follow up after demos to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve sales. Help identify potential new accounts and support outreach to grow the Seattle territory. Track demo results, customer feedback, and sales opportunities. Customer Service and Ownership Represent Kalama Sourdough Bakery professionally at every stop. Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work. Resolve routine problems thoughtfully and communicate when additional support is needed. Follow company procedures, traffic laws, and safety expectations.
