Delivery Driver (Professional In-home) / Warehouse Associate

Overview As a Delivery Driver with Room & Board , you'll do more than deliver furniture; you'll create exceptional customer experiences while representing our employee-owned company and premium brand. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, physically active, and comfortable using technology such as GPS, tablets, and digital delivery tools. In this role, you'll be part of a three-person team, rotating between local deliveries and warehouse operations. On delivery days, you'll help bring high-quality home furnishings into customers' homes throughout the San Francisco area, navigating dense city traffic, multi-store buildings, stairs, and other physically demanding environments. In the delivery center, you'll prepare merchandise for delivery through product staging, assembly, inspection, and quality checks. Every day is active, collaborative, and focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience. Additional Requirements To Be a Delivery Driver A genuine passion for serving customers, demonstrated through prior experience in a customer-facing delivery or customer service role, is highly valued and preferred At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck (training provided) Able to lift/carry heavy items with the assistance of a team member and/or proper lifting equipment Proficiency in spoken and written English is required to ensure effective communication with your delivery partner, internal teams and customers Able to pass pre-employment requirements, including a 5-panel drug screen (no THC) Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire What We Offer Our Delivery Drivers Salary: $28.85 - $30.29 / hour ($60,000 - $63,000 / year) Salary offered is based on experience/qualifications.
