Delivery Driver & Order Fulfillment Associate

Randy’s Donuts Position Summary Randy’s Donuts is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Delivery Driver & Order Fulfillment Associate . This is a hands-on position that includes preparing, packing, checking, loading, and delivering orders. The role is not limited to driving : the successful candidate will help ensure each order is accurate, properly handled, and delivered on time. Products are transported on speed racks using a large van. The regular overnight schedule is 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Occasional one-off deliveries may also be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Order Preparation and Verification Prepare and pack orders according to invoices, pick lists, route sheets, and customer instructions. Verify each order before departure, including products, quantities, labels, packaging, and delivery destination. Identify and promptly report missing, incorrect, damaged, or substituted items. Organize completed orders for efficient loading and delivery. Handle food products and packaging carefully to help maintain quality, cleanliness, and presentation. Loading and Delivery Load, secure, transport, and unload products on speed racks, using safe handling practices to prevent spills, shifting, or damage. Operate a large van safely and responsibly on scheduled routes and occasional one-off deliveries. Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions; communicate promptly about delays, access issues, or other problems. Confirm delivery completion and obtain signatures or other required proof of delivery when applicable. Treat customers, coworkers, and the public courteously and professionally. Vehicle and Safety Responsibilities Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects, damage, maintenance needs, or unsafe conditions. Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and suitable for transporting food products. Secure cargo properly before each trip and follow safe loading and unloading procedures. Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, inspection, and incident records as required. Immediately report accidents, injuries, traffic incidents, product damage, or food-safety concerns. Other Responsibilities Assist with reasonable order-preparation, cleaning, stocking, and delivery-related tasks as assigned. Follow company policies, supervisor instructions, and established procedures. Protect company property, products, records, and confidential information. Required Qualifications Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting applicable legal, company, and insurance requirements. Meets all legal and regulatory qualifications required to operate the assigned vehicle. Demonstrated ability to safely drive a large van; previous delivery or commercial driving experience is preferred. Professional appearance, conduct, communication, and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to pack and verify orders accurately. Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Availability to work the overnight shift, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. , and occasional one-off deliveries. Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including standing, bending, and loading or unloading speed racks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
