Delivery Driver – Non-CDL Flatbed Haynes Brothers Lumber | Murfreesboro, TN $18–$24/hour | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm Local routes, home every night | Health, dental, 401(k), profit sharing, PTO, paid holidays NO CDL REQUIRED. A Tennessee F endorsement and a clean driving record are required. ABOUT US Haynes Brothers Lumber is a third-generation, family-owned lumber and building materials company serving builders and contractors across Middle Tennessee. You'll work for people who know your name. THE JOB You'll deliver lumber and building materials to jobsites using our Isuzu flatbed trucks and company pickups. This is not a driving-only job. You'll load, secure, unload, and place materials all day, and help in the yard between deliveries. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Verify each load against the delivery ticket and report damage, shortages, or wrong products before you leave the yard - Secure loads with straps, tie-downs, and tarps, and check them along the route - Deliver lumber, doors, windows, trim, moulding, and hardware to residential and commercial jobsites - Unload by hand or with equipment and place materials where the customer or dispatch directs - Protect customer property, including driveways, landscaping, buildings, and vehicles - Take delivery photos and enter notes in our delivery app, and complete all delivery paperwork - Keep dispatch updated on delays, jobsite problems, damage, or accidents - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues right away - Keep your truck and equipment clean and organized REQUIREMENTS - Valid Tennessee driver's license with an F (For-Hire) endorsement, or the ability to obtain one before your start date - At least 2 years of unrestricted driving experience - Clean driving record: no DUI or reckless driving in the past 5 years, and no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years - Must qualify under our auto insurance policy and pass an MVR review, drug screen, background check, and driving evaluation - Able to maneuver and back up safely in tight spaces and on active jobsites - Able to read delivery tickets and GPS directions and to count materials accurately - Able to lift up to about 75 lbs, team-lift longer or heavier materials, and work outdoors in all weather on uneven ground Delivery, flatbed, landscaping, construction, or lumberyard experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.
