Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or step-van for local deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices and GPS tools to optimize time and fuel consumption. Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route activities using mobile devices or delivery logs. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or driver roles involving load & unload responsibilities. Will train if you have no experience. Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace is essential. Demonstrated ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during route driving. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and record keeping efficiently. Join us in delivering excellence!
