Delivery Driver & Inventory Specialist

Value Added Distributors is hiring a full-time Delivery DriverInventory Specialist in Rockford, IL. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy a variety of responsibilities throughout your day, we'd like to hear from you. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour . This position works Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime available as needed. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU High school diploma or equivalent 21+ years of age Valid Class C driver's license and a clean driving record 2+ years of driving experience and comfortable driving in all types of weather conditions Ability to type 25+ wpm Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude Ability to successfully obtain a DOT medical card and the company will reimburse Ability to safely lift 65 pounds using proper lifting techniques Solid judgement, decision-making ability, and ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and forecast inventory needs accurately Ability to work independently and in a team Experience in supply chain or logistics is ideal Previous working knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, especially Epicor is a plus WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As a Delivery DriverInventory Specialist, you will travel to customer locations throughout the region, monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and ensure customers have the products they need. You will generate replenishment orders, review inventory trends, complete order entry, deliver materials, assist with warehouse activities, and work with sales and operations teams to support customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
