Delivery Driver – Independent Contractor – Company Van Provided

Company: FAMM International Group Delivery area: Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey and surrounding cities Pickup and return location: 22671 16 Avenue, Langley, BC Start time: Approximately 7:30 AM Start date: Immediate Job type: Contract / Independent Contractor FAMM International Group is seeking five reliable drivers for an ongoing contract delivery opportunity. Drivers use a company-provided Ford Transit van, with fuel, vehicle insurance and maintenance covered. Schedule and Availability Availability on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is required. Additional B2B delivery assignments are offered on a rotational basis on Monday and Tuesday. Preference will be given to contractors available Monday through Friday. Monday and Tuesday assignments are subject to operational needs and are not guaranteed every week. Package Delivery Work Collect a preloaded company van from our Langley warehouse at approximately 8:00 AM, complete your assigned deliveries and return the van to the warehouse afterward. Approximately 125 boxes per route/day. Routes typically take approximately eight hours, depending on traffic, delivery area and route conditions. Compensation: CA$1.50 per package delivered . A route with 125 packages delivered pays CA$187.50 . Package delivery compensation is based on packages delivered, not an hourly rate. Route volume and completion time may vary. Additional B2B Delivery Work Rotational assignments on Monday and Tuesday. Approximately 8:00 AM pickup at the Langley warehouse. Typical assignment duration: six to seven hours. Compensation: CA$19.00 per hour for B2B delivery work . Responsibilities Operate the company van safely and responsibly. Complete assigned deliveries and follow customer instructions. Use the delivery app and submit required proof-of-delivery photos. Communicate promptly with dispatch about delivery issues. Handle boxes carefully. Report vehicle concerns and return the van after each route. Requirements Valid Class 5 driver’s licence. At least two years of driving experience in Canada. Clean driving record and ability to provide a driving abstract. Own smartphone with an active phone number and a mobile plan that supports calls, texts and sufficient mobile data throughout the route. Ability to use navigation and delivery apps. Ability to lift and carry delivery boxes. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Delivery or cargo-van driving experience is preferred. Contract and Payment Details This is an ongoing independent contractor opportunity, subject to route availability and business needs. Company Ford Transit van provided for assigned delivery work. Fuel, vehicle insurance and maintenance covered. No driver fees or deposits. Payments made biweekly. Contractors provide their own smartphone and mobile plan and are responsible for their own taxes and applicable business obligations.
