Delivery Driver/ Helper (Non-CDL)

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other non-CDL vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes Load, secure, and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Assist with moving items within warehouses or customer locations, including heavy lifting and manual handling Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer questions or concerns professionally Follow route plans accurately, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure efficient delivery schedules Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards Collaborate with team members to load trucks efficiently and ensure all deliveries are completed accurately Experience Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus Warehouse experience involving heavy lifting, moving, or equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and equipment use Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver or courier is highly valued Requirements For All Applicants: Must be 18+ (21+ for Drivers) Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must have reliable daily transportation to and from work Must have a working cell phone with data/service Must be able to lift/move heavy appliances with a partner For Drivers: Valid Driver’s License Valid DOT Medical Card Clean MVR (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years) Experience driving a 26-ft box truck Appliance delivery and installation experience preferred For Helpers: Valid Driver’s License or State ID Appliance delivery or installation experience preferred Tools: Drivers and helpers are expected to have their own basic tools for installations (drill, wrenches, level, straps, dolly, etc.).
