Delivery Driver/Helper

Job Summary The Driver/Helper is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and assisting with the installation of household appliances and the setup of furniture in members’ homes. This role requires hands-on experience with appliance installation, basic assembly skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure all products are set up correctly and securely. The Driver/Helper represents the company inside members’ homes and must maintain a professional, respectful, and customer‑focused demeanor at all times. Strong communication skills are essential—both when interacting with members during deliveries and when coordinating with the dispatch office to report issues, delays, or job‑related concerns. Duties Arrive on time each morning to pick up assigned route paperwork and delivery schedule. Inspect and verify all items for the day’s deliveries, confirming that every product is loaded and accounted for. Review delivery lanes and ensure the truck is organized for efficient unloading at each stop. Make required pre‑calls to members to confirm delivery windows and ensure they are prepared for the appointment. Safely deliver appliances and furniture to members’ homes. Install appliances according to company and manufacturer guidelines. Assemble and set up furniture, ensuring proper placement, stability, and member satisfaction. Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude inside members’ homes. Communicate clearly with members, answering basic questions and addressing concerns. Stay in consistent contact with the dispatch office, reporting issues, delays, or problems during the route. Return to the warehouse and unload all trash, packaging, and debris from the truck. Ensure the vehicle is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. Report any equipment issues, missing items, or route concerns to dispatch or management. Requirements Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) to communicate effectively with members and dispatch. Experience installing household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers. Experience assembling and setting up furniture , including handling tools and following assembly instructions. Valid Medical Card required for all drivers. Strong communication skills with both members in their homes and the dispatch office during routes. Ability to perform heavy lifting , including moving large appliances and furniture safely. Professional appearance and behavior when entering members’ homes. Reliable and punctual , able to follow daily schedules and complete all assigned deliveries. Basic knowledge of safety procedures , proper lifting techniques, and equipment handling. Join us in delivering excellence!
