Delivery Driver / Furniture & Mattress Mover – Experienced Only

Job Overview Sleep Shop | Richmond, BC Sleep Shop is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver and Furniture Mover to join our team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position. We need someone with professional experience moving heavy furniture and mattresses, navigating tight spaces and stairs, and safely operating a 5-ton truck. Customer service is just as important as your moving experience. Our delivery team is the final impression customers have of the Sleep Shop experience. We expect every delivery to be handled with care, professionalism and a positive attitude, leaving customers feeling great about their purchase. This is not an entry-level position. Previous professional moving and truck-driving experience is required. Schedule Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off) Start and finish at our Richmond warehouse: 12540 Bridgeport Road Requirements Must be able to comfortably lift and move 150 lbs or more regularly , using safe moving practices. Professional experience moving mattresses, beds and heavy furniture is required. Experience driving a 5-ton truck is mandatory. Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience moving large items through stairs, narrow hallways and tight spaces without causing damage. Experience using moving equipment, straps, dollies and hand tools. Ability to assemble and disassemble beds and furniture. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Able to read, write and speak English clearly. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Reliable, punctual, hardworking and team-oriented. Responsibilities Safely drive our 5-ton delivery truck. Load, secure, transport and unload mattresses, adjustable beds and furniture. Deliver, assemble and install products in customers' homes. Safely navigate stairs, tight corners and challenging delivery situations. Protect customers' homes and belongings from damage. Provide exceptional customer service, treating every customer and their home with respect. Be friendly, professional and helpful, ensuring customers have a positive final experience with Sleep Shop. Use a mobile app to follow delivery routes and update delivery status. Assist with warehouse duties when required. Who We're Looking For We want someone who knows how to move heavy furniture properly, not just someone who is physically strong. You must take pride in your work, have a positive attitude and understand that delivering furniture is about more than getting products into someone's home. You are the last impression of the Sleep Shop experience. Our customers have trusted us with their purchase, and your job is to make sure their experience ends on a high note.
