Safeway Tire Depot LTDDelivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant Location: Delta, BC Job Type: Full-time, permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday About the Position A growing tire distribution company in Delta is looking for a dependable and physically capable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant. You will deliver tires to automotive businesses throughout the Lower Mainland and assist with daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be a safe and responsible driver, provide professional customer service, and be comfortable performing physical work throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Delivery Duties Conduct and document pre-trip vehicle inspections Safely load tires into company vans or trucks Verify products and quantities before leaving the warehouse Deliver customer orders according to assigned routes and schedules Obtain signed or electronic proof of delivery from each customer Communicate professionally with customers Notify the office promptly about delays, delivery issues, damages, or customer concerns Return undelivered products and delivery documents to the warehouse Keep the assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures Warehouse Duties Pick, organize, load, and unload customer orders Verify tire sizes, brands, quantities, and labels Place incoming products in their assigned warehouse locations Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Help prepare the following day’s deliveries Perform other delivery and warehouse duties as assigned Requirements Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence Clean and safe driving record Able to provide a current driver’s abstract Able to repeatedly lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, load, and unload products throughout the workday Strong customer-service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to follow assigned schedules Strong attention to detail when checking products and quantities Able to work independently and cooperate with office and warehouse staff Legally authorized to work in Canada Preferred Qualifications Previous commercial delivery, courier, warehouse, or tire-industry experience Five or more years of driving experience is an asset Familiarity with roads and commercial areas throughout the Lower Mainland Experience driving cargo vans or light-duty trucks Experience using delivery apps, GPS, dollies, hand trucks, or warehouse equipment How to Apply Please apply through Indeed with your current résumé.
