We provide paid training, reliable equipment, and opportunities to grow. As a Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground), you’ll keep packages moving safely and reliably from pickup to delivery. You’ll drive an assigned route, handle packages, and provide courteous service at each stop. This is a hands-on role that may involve a van, box truck, or other delivery vehicle, depending on route needs. The position is paid. Duties Drive delivery routes and follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Load and unload packages, using safe lifting practices and material handling equipment such as a pallet jack when needed. Use a mobile device to review route information and record delivery activity. Deliver packages to customers and support a positive customer service experience. Your impact: Careful driving and package handling help customers receive their deliveries safely and on time. Skills Required: Valid authorization to drive the assigned vehicle and a safe driving approach; ability to lift and move packages and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery experience. Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box truck, manual transmission, and delivery driving experience are helpful. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, load and unload tasks, manual handling, moving, and material handling equipment operation are useful. Customer service experience and familiarity with DOT regulations, mobile devices, pallet jacks, and safe lifting practices are valued. Schedule: Full-Time: 5 - 6 days per week, with one weekend day required. Start at 8:00 AM until route completion Key Responsibilities: Complete 120 average stops per day depending on the routes Safely operate a company delivery vehicle Pick up, scan, load, and deliver packages Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections Use GPS to complete deliveries accurately Required Qualifications: Age 21 or older Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report Must be willing to submit to an employer-paid background check, drug test, and DOT physical Lift packages up to 180 lbs.
