Delivery Driver

Job Overview A Key Duties and Responsibilities Deliver food orders to customers promptly and safely while maintaining food quality and temperature. Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before leaving the restaurant. Follow assigned delivery routes and use GPS or navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries. Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments and provide correct change when required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, and customer transactions. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries. Respond politely to customer inquiries and report complaints or delivery issues to management. Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices. Maintain a valid driver's licence and meet applicable vehicle insurance requirements. Keep delivery bags and equipment clean and in good condition. Assist with packing food orders, preparing delivery bags, and organizing takeout orders. Answer telephone calls and assist with taking customer orders when required. Help maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including counters, workstations, and delivery areas. Assist kitchen and front-counter staff with general restaurant duties during non-delivery periods. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures. Report vehicle problems, accidents, delays, or delivery concerns to the restaurant manager immediately. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Pay: $16.40 per hour Work Location: In person
