Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Assist PArts guys in setting up the parts Help all other departments in the shop Cleaning the Shop whenever needed Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination while managing multiple stops throughout the day. Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, addressing questions and building positive client relationships. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, utilizing strong sales skills to enhance customer experience. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for each trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and report any maintenance needs promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation. Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for accurate transactions and measurements. Excellent communication skills for clear client interaction and effective team collaboration. Demonstrated ability in retail store experience or merchandising to understand product placement and presentation. Familiarity with DOT regulations, heavy lifting techniques, safe lifting practices, and vehicle safety standards. Exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules, deliveries, and documentation efficiently. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle client concerns professionally.
