Company Overview Corner Office Gourmet (www.canapeteam.com) is a wholesale food manufacturer & distributor that delivers to the hotels, colleges, hospitals & institutions throughout Boston, Cambridge & New England. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Corner Office Gourmet for Boston & Cambridge deliveries. This position consisist of about 4 - 5 hours each morning on the road. Once deliveries are complete, FOR THOSE CANDIDATES SEEKING A FULL TIME POSITION, hours are available to work with the food preparation production team.. FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING A PART TIME POSITION, the shift would end once the deliveries are done, van is clean & ready for the next day. We will adapt this position for the right candidate who proves to be a match for our team. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport sandwiches, fresh & frozen appetizers & desserts. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Load and unload delivery items efficiently while maintaining product integrity. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding order details and special requests. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist with inventory management as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to read invoices ( in English) Must be able to drive & back up into loading docks with large refrigerated vans Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role. Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is preferred.
