Delivery Driver
Vern's & Son, Inc.High School grad or GED, clean driving record(insurable), simple math, verbal communication, customer service. Deliver frozen and chilled food to convenience stores, bars, and restaurants in Oregon and SW Washington using pallet jack and hand truck. 26,000 GVW truck, Do not need Class A or B and no endorsements required. Shift is 4:30am until finished, Tuesday through Friday. Routes are established and are roughly the same week to week. This job requires lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time, sorting and organizing loads according to stops. Excellent verbal communication in English. Ability to work with people of different cultures and languages. Requires high level of activity to perform job well. Timeliness is key for success.
