Delivery Driver - F Endorsement
ConfidentialDescription: Summary: The Delivery Driver will ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition while providing great customer service. Essential Duties : Load and unload truck. Lift, pull, move, product weighing 100+ lbs. on a daily basis, numerous times throughout the day Verify loads for quality and completeness Ensure that orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damage in transit Ensure that appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each load Drives truck over established route to deliver Pella product to jobsites and service storage warehouses Deliver job site signs for advertising purposes. Collects money for COD orders Perform daily inspection of assigned company vehicle and document in accordance with DOT law. Ensure that assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable. Interact with Material and Warehouse Coordinators to resolve problems when needed. Ensuring our Pella customer’s are very satisfied Requirements: Qualifications: A clean driving record is REQUIRED Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact. Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100+ lbs.) for customer deliveries throughout the day. Must be able to comply with the DOT hours of service regulations. Education/Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Delivery Driver in a similar position. Some college is desired.
