Delivery Driver

Job Summary Union Park Pizza is seeking a reliable, punctual, and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join its restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver pizza and other food orders safely and promptly, provide friendly service, and help ensure accurate order delivery. This position is suited for someone who knows the local area, communicates well, and takes pride in providing a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver pizza, food orders, and beverages to guests safely and on time. Verify order accuracy and check packaging before leaving the restaurant. Follow assigned delivery routes and use navigation tools when necessary. Handle food orders carefully to maintain quality and presentation. Communicate politely with guests during deliveries. Process cash and electronic payments accurately, when required. Maintain delivery records and report completed orders to restaurant staff. Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition. Report vehicle maintenance concerns or delivery issues to management. Assist with basic restaurant tasks between deliveries when needed. Follow restaurant procedures for food handling and order security. Requirements Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Access to a reliable, properly insured vehicle if personal vehicle delivery is required. Previous delivery driver or restaurant experience is preferred. Familiarity with local Boston streets and neighborhoods is an advantage. Strong communication and time-management skills. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Ability to follow directions and work independently. Dependable, punctual, and organized. Ability to lift and carry food orders safely. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
