Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering laundry, linens, clothing, and other items to designated locations in a timely and professional manner. The candidate must have good driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Duties Pick up and deliver laundry, linens, uniforms, and other items to designated locations. Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly. Load and unload laundry bags, carts, and delivery items. Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule. Verify delivery orders and confirm quantities before leaving and upon arrival. Handle customer items carefully to prevent loss or damage. Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, and paperwork. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently. Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.. Qualifications and Requirements Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Previous delivery or driving experience is an asset. Ability to operate a company vehicle safely. Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes. Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags and other delivery items. Good communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to follow instructions and meet delivery schedules. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Sitting and driving for extended periods. Loading and unloading delivery items.
