Delivery Driver - DSP Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and sharp Amazon DSP Dispatcher to lead our team of Delivery Associates (Drivers) and keep our daily operations running seamlessly. As an Amazon DSP Dispatcher, you are the central hub of our daily delivery operations. You will manage morning stand-ups, monitor route progress in real-time, troubleshoot on-the-road issues, direct rescues, and ensure all drivers return safely at the end of their shift. WE ARE URGENTLY HIRING! Hours are 12 pm to 10pm (Approximate) Delivery Driver shifts range between day/evening per shifts are available 7 days/week. Key Responsibilities: Morning Staging & Dispatch: Conduct daily driver stand-up meetings, assign vehicles/routes, distribute equipment (phones, keys, fuel cards), and oversee line-up and loading at the Amazon logistics station. Real-Time Fleet Tracking: Monitor delivery route progress throughout the day using Cortex, fleet management software, and GPS tools. Driver Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers experiencing issues on the road (navigation problems, package discrepancies, vehicle breakdowns, customer access issues). Rescue Management: Identify behind-schedule drivers and strategically route nearby drivers to execute package rescues to keep the overall fleet on track. Safety & Compliance Oversight: Enforce Amazon and DSP safety policies, monitor real-time safety metrics (Mentor/Netradyne), and address distracted or unsafe driving immediately. Debrief & Fleet Maintenance: Check in drivers as they return, audit returned packages/equipment, coordinate van maintenance and fueling, and report daily operational metrics to the Operations Manager/Owner. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1+ years of dispatch, logistics, team lead, or fleet operations experience (Amazon DSP or delivery/courier experience strongly preferred). Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Amazon Cortex, fleet tracking apps, Excel/Google Sheets, and smartphone platforms. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations. Problem Solver: Ability to multi-task, prioritize urgent tasks, and make quick, logical decisions on the fly. License & Age: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (may need to step in to drive a route in emergencies). Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
