About us Valor Medical Solutions is a locally owned, accredited medical equipment provider in San Antonio. We deliver breast pumps, mobility equipment, and orthopedic products to patients across the area, including new moms, seniors, and military families. We’re a small, close-knit team, and our drivers are often the face of the company for our patients. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver / DME Delivery Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face delivering essential medical equipment and supplies directly to customers’ homes or healthcare facilities. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure timely, accurate deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. What you’ll do Deliver medical equipment to patients’ homes, clinics, and facilities on local San Antonio routes Set up equipment and show patients how to use it safely (we’ll train you) Collect delivery signatures and complete simple paperwork accurately Load, unload, and keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized Pick up returned or rental equipment as needed Treat every patient with patience, kindness, and respect for their privacy What we’re looking for Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record Must pass a background check and driving record check Able to lift up to [70+] lbs Friendly, reliable, and comfortable talking with patients and families Good with directions and managing time on a route Healthcare, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus but not required Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply What we offer Company vehicle provided for deliveries Paid training, including HIPAA and equipment setup A stable job with a growing local healthcare company Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies to designated locations. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow established routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities. Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, providing product guidance and answering questions to enhance their experience. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inventory records throughout each shift. Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and uphold safety standards at all times. Requirements Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or personal vehicle delivery. Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential. Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar devices. Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT compliance requirements. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries. Physical ability to perform moving tasks including load & unload activities frequently throughout the shift.
