Delivery Driver - Distribution Team

Our company is currently seeking an experienced, passionate, reliable and enthusiastic Part Time Delivery Driver - Distribution Team Member! This distribution role includes account delivery, driving and operations warehouse support. Our ideal candidate must be a self-starter and work independently, with great interpersonal skills and professionalism when dealing with customers and the public. You would be a great match if you are passionate about the craft beer industry, organized and team minded, with good geographical knowledge of the Vancouver area . This is a very physically demanding role; delivery of full 50L and 30L kegs. This is a Part-Time, Hourly position, 3 -4 days a week. Potential full time position in the spring, starting in March. You will be responsible for: Acting as a brand ambassador, positively representing Red Truck Beer Company both internally and externally Work closely with Order Desk, Sales and Operations to coordinate daily orders and destinations, warehouse transfers and brewery activities Completing daily inspections, and safely and securely loading trucks Responsibly operating delivery trucks, delivering goods to accounts and picking up empty kegs Maintaining records and documentation Cover and assist warehouse where needed; general warehouse duties Cover and assist brewery operations where needed General truck upkeep and maintenance Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract a must. Abstracts requested every 6 months Experience driving 5 Ton trucks Ability to repeatedly move full 50 Litre kegs (120lbs/70kg) Schedule flexibility a must , daily hours can vary Customer service: 1 year High school education or equivalent, post-secondary considered an asset Air Break Endorsement (Code 15) an asset Heavy Trailer Endorsement (Code 20) an asset Forklift ticket an asset First Aid training an asset Excellent communication skills Compensation: $25/hr, plus License Endorsements premiums Extended benefits and RRSP match after a 3-month probation period Additional brewery perks Pay: $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Employee assistance program Extended health care Paid time off RRSP match Work Location: In person
