We are a growing industrial and medical gas company that delivers everything from medical oxygen and industrial gases to flammable propane and welding products . What We Offer Monday–Friday schedule Saturdays and Sundays off Starting times between 6:30–7:30 AM Typical end time between 3:30–4:30 PM On-the-job training Relaxed and lively work environment Casual work attire Safe work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement CDL and Hazmat training assistance The Position Our drivers deliver gas cylinders and welding products using company trucks equipped with flatbeds and lift gates. Our Salt Lake location's delivery area generally covers Draper/Bluffdale through the Logan area , with occasional deliveries into Idaho and Wyoming . This is a physically demanding position . Drivers must be comfortable regularly loading, unloading, moving, and properly securing gas cylinders and welding materials. Build Your Career With Us You do NOT need a CDL to apply! DJB Gas Services is looking for individuals who are interested in developing their driving skills and working toward additional professional qualifications. All new hires will be expected to obtain at least a Class C CDL with a Hazmat endorsement . DJB Gas Services will help provide the training and support needed to work toward these qualifications. Once you obtain your Class C CDL, your pay will increase to $23 per hour. For employees interested in continuing their professional development, there may also be an opportunity to pursue a Class B CDL and expand the types of vehicles and responsibilities they can qualify for. DJB Gas Services is registered with the FMCSA as an ELDT training facility and can provide training to help employees work toward their required qualifications. Hazmat Requirements Because we transport hazardous materials, applicants must be able to qualify for a Hazmat endorsement . If you do not already have a Hazmat endorsement, you must be able to pass the required TSA federal background check to obtain one. Applicants must be at least 21 years old to obtain a Hazmat endorsement. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of company vehicles. Load and unload gas cylinders and welding materials. Properly secure and handle products during transportation. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. Inspect vehicles before and after trips. Report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, invoices, and logs. Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Dependable and responsible work ethic. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow directions and safety procedures. Good time-management skills. Ability to work independently while interacting professionally with customers. Physical ability and stamina to load and unload heavy materials. Willingness to learn and work toward obtaining a Class C CDL and Hazmat endorsement . Interest in potentially pursuing a Class B CDL as you grow with the company.
