Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are a FedEx ISP looking for an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our team to pick up and deliver for FedEx Ground! In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely to our valued customers. This position offers paid training and an exciting opportunity to be active, organized, and engaged in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success. NOTE: We provide the training but not everyone can do this job. You must be positive, capable and punctual. And you must have a clean license and pass the background and drug screening! Must be authorized to work in the USA. Duties: Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver goods across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and timely arrivals, adjusting as needed for traffic or unforeseen obstacles. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns with a positive attitude. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse activities when not on the road, including inventory management and preparing packages for dispatch. Complete monthly safety trainings on your computer. Requirements: Experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving and load management is preferred! We will train you but you must already be familiar with this type of work. Valid driver’s license. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and physical tasks regularly throughout the day. Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and operating warehouse machinery like pallet jacks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for route planning and documentation compliance. Be physically able to do the work. Join us in delivering excellence!
