Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to retail stores or clients. Engage with customers professionally to build rapport, answer questions, and ensure a satisfactory delivery. Manage merchandise loading and unloading with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records using organizational skills. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Follow merchandising standards by organizing products on delivery vehicles and in retail locations to enhance presentation. On time daily, no call no show= no job Ability to lift 50-150 lbs Great attention to detail Can pass a background check Can pass a drug test Ability to work as a team Reliable Transportation Clean Driving Record Must be willing to be away from home for 2-3 day trips (expenses paid) Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles, with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service principles. Familiarity with furniture moving and warehousing is necessary. Knowledge of automobile transportation safety protocols, heavy lifting practices, and DOT regulations is preferred. Hard work ethic, willing to work until the jobs done. Basic math skills are essential for handling furniture count. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members. Organizational skills for managing schedules, route planning, and documentation efficiently.
