Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products across designated routes. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices to ensure compliance and safety on every trip. Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining high safety standards. Build strong customer relationships through professional communication, friendly service, and prompt problem resolution. Conduct heavy lifting and merchandising tasks, including organizing deliveries and ensuring proper product placement in retail stores or client locations. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and adhere to organizational procedures for record-keeping. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation is preferred. Basic math skills for handling pricing calculations and transaction processing. Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members. Experience in retail store environments or client relationship building is a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations, heavy lifting techniques, and safe lifting practices required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Prior experience in sales, merchandising, or upselling is advantageous but not mandatory.
