Gregg Distributors LP distributes products across Western Canada to the industrial, agricultural, automotive and heavy truck sectors. We are seeking mature, dependable and safety-focused Delivery Drivers who understand the importance of Customer Serviceto join our Edmonton team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting critical industrial supplies, equipment, and parts to our customers, warehouse networks, and active jobsites. At Gregg’s our employees are true ambassadors for the company and play a huge part in building relationships with our customers. This position offers a stable, consistent Monday to Friday day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Key Responsibilities: What will you do? · Order Verification: Review orders before loading to ensure accuracy and completeness. Confirm manifests match perfectly before departure and obtain proper sign-offs upon arrival. · Navigation & Logging: Determine the most efficient delivery route on a daily basis. · Safe Transportation: Load and unload, transport and deliver products to our customers in a timely fashion. · Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to road regulations, jobsite safety protocols (including wearing appropriate PPE) and company safety guidelines. · Vehicle Care: Perform basic pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean organized delivery vehicle. · And most importantly CUSTOMER SERVICE: Act as the face of Gregg Distributors by providing polite and professional service at every drop-off. We don’t just a drop and go, we take pride in making sure the customer is fully satisfied before leaving. When not on the road, assisting the warehouse team with customer service functions. Qualifications & Requirements: · Licence & Records: You must carry a valid driver’s licence (Class 5 minimum). Should have no at-fault accidents, licence suspensions or more than 5 demerit points in the past three years prior to applying. · Experience: Minimum 2 years of commercial delivery experience, preferably within industrial, hot shot or construction environments. · Physical Capabilities: The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Capability to handle heavy lifting, moving items up to 50-90lbs and familiarity operating pallet jack or dollies. · Safety Awareness: Knowledge of how-to safely secure loads. You have a proactive mindset towards warehouse and job site locations.
