Position: Delivery Driver Location: Corpus Christi, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday–Sunday, between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM (schedules may vary) Starting Pay: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary: Corpus Christi Produce Company is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. All drivers begin by learning essential warehouse duties to understand our operations fully. This role requires punctuality, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting produce, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness in both the truck and warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Duties: Start by learning and performing warehouse tasks, including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Delivery Operations: Load and unload multiple boxes of produce (up to 50 lbs.) into the delivery truck, using a dolly as needed. Make multiple trips to complete deliveries to various destinations throughout the workday. Adjust invoices in the field as needed to ensure accuracy. Count and transport money and other forms of payment responsibly. Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the delivery truck to company standards. Quality Assurance: Uphold Corpus Christi Produce Company’s commitment to quality by ensuring all produce meets standards during handling and delivery. Punctuality: Report to work on time at 5:00 AM for scheduled shifts. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance. Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule, including weekends, between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Basic math skills for adjusting invoices and handling payments. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Prior delivery or warehouse experience is a plus but not required. Must be 21 years of age to be approved for company Insurance, with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly. Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable using a dolly to transport heavy loads.
