Delivery Driver - Contract (Own Cargo Van)

Urgently Hiring: Contract Delivery Drivers with Cargo Vans SHIPR Logistics Ltd. is a last-mile delivery company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our volume is growing, and we are urgently looking for dependable drivers with their own cargo vans to join our team on a contract basis. About the Role Each morning you will pick up packages from our Richmond location at 7:00 AM and deliver them within a single assigned area. The area changes from day to day, but every route stays within a tight radius, so you spend your time delivering rather than driving long distances. Packages are mostly light, and most drivers complete their route in 4 to 6 hours, depending on experience. Pay and Bonuses $200 to $300 per route, depending on the route and the size of your van Optional recovery routes for additional pay when available, allowing you to complete more than one route in a day Performance bonuses for drivers who are consistent and maintain a high delivery accuracy rate Paid bi-weekly Schedule Routes start at 7:00 AM We prefer drivers who are available a minimum of 4 days per week, up to 7 days Work is available 7 days a week for drivers who would like additional routes What You Will Need Your own small, medium, or large cargo van in good working condition Commercial auto insurance with $3 million liability coverage A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record Minimum age of 25 Ability to pass a background check A smartphone capable of running delivery and navigation apps Ability to lift and carry packages throughout your route Nice to Have Previous last-mile delivery or courier experience Familiarity with the Greater Vancouver area Minivan Drivers We occasionally hire minivan drivers as well. Minivan routes typically run 3 to 4 hours and average $150 per day. If you drive a minivan, you are welcome to apply. Please mention it in your application. Contract Details This is a contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs.
