Duties Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport construction materials to designated job sites. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries. Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines and optimize fuel usage. Load and unload construction materials carefully, ensuring items are secure during transit. Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before departure. Communicate effectively with site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle. Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries, including logs and delivery receipts. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Physical stamina for loading, unloading, and handling heavy construction materials. Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and proper documentation.
