Winston Salem Warehouse: packages delivered to Greensboro, Yadkinville, Mocksville and Thomasville. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated owners/operator Delivery Driver to join our team. Individuals must have their own cars, minivans, or cargo vans to deliver the freight. Primary responsibilities include loading packages onto driver's vehicle from the warehouse located at either Charlotte or Winston Salem- and delivering the packages to primarily homes in surrounding cities. The driver must have a smart phone to access the company apps and should have a good driving record and clean background. The operation runs every day so there is no shortage of work. Applicants must be 21 or over. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to traffic laws. Drivers will be operating in Charlotte or Winston Salem and their surrounding cities. Drivers must scan/load packages assigned between the hours of 6am and 9am. All packages must be delivered the same day before 9pm. If they are not delivered by 9pm for a reason outside of driver's control, the remaining packages must be returned to the warehouse the following morning between 6 and 9am to avoid penalties. Delivery Driver - Independent Contractor Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Execute route driving to deliver packages and goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload items, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary (n/a) Perform manual lifting of heavy items as required during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each route completed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from recipients. Delivery Driver - Independent Contractor Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; pass a background check. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly desirable. Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with moving goods. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
