FUNCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS Purpose The purpose of this job is to pick-up and/or deliver merchandise as required and serve as a company representative, promoting the reputation of United Central Industrial Supply Company in a positive manner. Primary Functions Operate company vehicles safely.\ Load and unload merchandise on vehicles.\ Obtain signatures and/or payments upon delivery of merchandise.\ Follow assigned scheduling of deliveries; make deliveries on time as scheduled.\ Follow proper procedures in reporting accidents in accordance with company policies.\ Maintain vehicles appearance, reporting any needed maintenance; observe traffic laws and regulations.\ Maintain neat personal appearance; always remain courteous and service minded in dealing with customers.\ Keep supervisor informed of shortages, overages or damaged merchandise and unresolved customer complaints.
