Delivery Driver Peekskill, NY / Part-Time / Statewide New York Routes Immediate opening — we are actively interviewing and expect to fill this position within the next week. The road is the job. Honey King is looking for a dependable driver to move our products from our facility in Peekskill to customers across New York State. This is not a local delivery route where every day looks the same. One day may be Hudson Valley and NYC. Another may mean Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, or a longer run across the state. Most days will run around 8–10 hours. We plan routes with enough time for the real world: traffic, weather, customer delays, and the unexpected. Some days may run up to approximately 12 hours. Who we are Honey King is a New York cannabis brand based in Peekskill. We care about doing things correctly and consistently. That applies to the products we make and to how they arrive at our customers. The driver is the last part of that process. The work You start in Peekskill. We give you the vehicle, the orders, the route, and the information you need. From there, you own the day. Load, count, and verify cannabis products and deliveries before leaving. Safely handle and transport cannabis products in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements. Drive scheduled routes throughout New York State, sometimes involving long distances and multiple stops. Work efficiently throughout the route while driving safely and completing scheduled deliveries within reasonable timeframes. Track mileage, stops, delivery status, and other required route information accurately. Maintain control of products, manifests, invoices, and other delivery documentation throughout the route. Verify deliveries, obtain required signatures, and properly document completed or unsuccessful stops. Load, unload, carry, and move delivery boxes and products weighing up to 50 pounds . Occasionally collect and securely handle cash or other authorized customer payments and properly account for them at the end of the route. Communicate promptly when traffic, weather, receiving delays, or another issue changes the plan. Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety issues. Return to Peekskill, reconcile products, payments, manifests, and route documentation, and properly close out the day's route. Some routes are straightforward. Some are long. We need someone who can handle both. The conditions New York weather changes. The job does not disappear every time it does. You should be comfortable driving in the normal range of conditions that come with year-round travel across New York: Heavy rain. Summer heat. Winter cold. NYC traffic. Highway congestion. Snow. Slush. Reduced visibility. Winter road conditions. Long stretches of highway. Safety comes first. We do not expect anyone to drive when authorities restrict travel or when conditions make a route unsafe. But if ordinary New York rain, snow, winter driving, traffic, or a long day behind the wheel is something you regularly try to avoid, this is probably not the right job. You You have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. You are comfortable driving throughout New York State. You can handle NYC and Long Island traffic as well as long-distance highway routes. You are comfortable driving in changing weather and seasonal conditions. You are dependable. If the route starts early, you are there early. You can use GPS and make sensible route decisions when traffic changes. You work efficiently while maintaining safe driving practices. You can accurately track mileage, stops, deliveries, and required documentation.
