Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver (Class 5) – Food Distribution We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver (Class 5) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting fruits, vegetables, and food products to restaurants and commercial clients across Montreal and surrounding areas, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This is a hands-on position that requires strong driving skills, physical ability, and professionalism when interacting with customers. Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including 14-foot cube trucks , to transport products to scheduled locations Load and unload products from the truck (heavy lifting required) Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Maintain a professional attitude with customers at all times Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety issues Assist with loading, organizing, and securing freight properly Maintain delivery logs and accurate documentation Communicate efficiently with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timing Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures Work efficiently in a fast-paced food distribution environment Requirements & Qualifications Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record Minimum 2 years of experience operating 14-foot cube trucks or similar commercial delivery vehicles Previous experience in the food distribution, produce, warehousing, or logistics industry Good knowledge of Montreal, Laval, South Shore, and surrounding areas Ability to load and unload trucks independently Comfortable handling fresh produce and food products Forklift experience is an asset Basic mechanical or automotive knowledge is an asset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy items Language Requirements English required French preferred Ability to communicate professionally with restaurant managers, receiving staff, warehouse personnel, and dispatch teams Familiarity with common warehouse and logistics terminology is considered a strong asset What We're Looking For We are seeking someone dependable, efficient, and professional — a driver who takes pride in safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. The right candidate will play a key role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth deliveries to our restaurant clients. Experience with restaurant deliveries, food service distribution, produce handling, and warehouse operations will be given priority.
