Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented Company Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering company products and materials to customers and designated locations in a timely and professional manner. The role also involves vehicle inspections, loading and unloading goods, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring company vehicles are kept clean and in good working condition. Key Responsibilities Deliver company products, supplies, and materials to customers and business locations safely and on time. Load, unload, secure, and handle goods carefully to prevent damage. Verify delivery orders, packing slips, and quantities before departure. Plan delivery routes efficiently and follow assigned schedules. Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate proof-of-delivery records. Communicate with the office, warehouse, dispatch team, and customers regarding delivery updates or delays. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues or safety concerns. Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained. Follow traffic laws, workplace safety requirements, and company policies. Report accidents, damaged goods, customer concerns, and delivery discrepancies promptly. Assist with warehouse duties, inventory handling, and other related tasks when required. Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications and Requirements Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated. Clean driving record. Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset. Ability to read delivery documents and follow instructions. Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems. Strong time-management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of lifting and moving products as required. Reliable, punctual, honest, and safety-conscious. Working Conditions Full-time employment, depending on company needs. Local or regional deliveries. Regular driving, frequent stops, and loading and unloading of goods. Work schedules may vary according to delivery requirements. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wages will be based on experience and company policy.
