Delivery Driver

Responsibilities: You MUST be at least 25 years of age and have a valid G licence for at least 2 years to apply for this job. Bring a clean drivers abstract Part time - Monday - Friday starting at 7:30am Apply in person. This is a physically demanding job. You must be able to push and pull laundry bins out of our truck via a ramp. - Complete daily pick up and delivery of linens to customers locations - Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner - Conduct daily unloads at our processing plant. Fill and empty trucks in and out of our facility. - Maintain delivery records and update information as needed - Care and respect for schedules and vehicles. - Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery. Drive in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner when operating company vehicles. Must be personable - Takes pride in appearance while in company uniform. Portray a positive and professional image to the customers, public and co-workers. -Experience: - Previous experience in a delivery driver/customer service role is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Problem-solving skills to address customer issues and find appropriate resolutions - Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery schedule and customer inventory levels Requirements - Valid Ontario G License with clean drivers abstract - Able to responsible drive larger vans, cube van and tow and back up a trailer with skill -Able to load and unload large bins up ramp into van and secure the load - Able to lift 50lbs in single load. Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crawl, kneel or crouch; use hands and fingers to handle a variety of packages. Ability to balance and climb steps. - Must pass criminal background check and legally able to work in Ontario. - Good verbal and written English proficiency Job Location is 745 Progress Avenue, Unit 5, Kingston, ON Pay: $23.00 per hour Education: Secondary School (preferred) Experience: delivery driving: 1 year (preferred) Language: English (preferred) Licence/Certification: Class G Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
