Delivery Drivers & Warehouse Packer Box Trucks & Vans Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious Delivery Driver & Warehouse Packer to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transportation, delivery, unloading, and packing of furniture and other products. The position combines commercial vehicle driving, furniture delivery, customer service, and warehouse operations . The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the accuracy, quality, and safety of every order. The successful candidate must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, loading, unloading, packing, and moving furniture. Qualifications Valid Florida Driver’s License and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements. Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history . No major violations or disqualifying driving offenses; applicants must meet the requirements of the company’s insurance carrier. Minimum 5* years of truck-driving experience* required. Previous experience operating box trucks, delivery vans, or other commercial vehicles required. Experience with manual-transmission vehicles is preferred. Previous experience in furniture delivery, warehouse operations, logistics, loading/unloading, or a related field is preferred. Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, load, unload, and move furniture and other materials weighing 50 pounds or more , with or without reasonable accommodation. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Dependable, punctual, responsible, and accountable. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, supervisors, and management. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of company products and warehouse procedures. Must comply with all company safety, quality, workplace, and vehicle policies. Must be willing to comply with applicable company drug and alcohol testing requirements. Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including proper PPE use and safe material-handling procedures, is preferred. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Driving Safely operate large box trucks, delivery vans, and other company vehicles on assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical or safety concerns. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting, damage, or injury during transportation. Load and unload furniture and other products using proper lifting and material-handling techniques. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while managing time efficiently. Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address customer questions or concerns appropriately. Protect customer property, company merchandise, and equipment during loading, transportation, and delivery. Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries and report any discrepancies, damages, or delivery issues promptly. Warehouse & Packing Receive and inspect incoming products and purchase orders for accuracy and visible damage. Locate products using warehouse systems, technology, pick lists, and other company tools. Pick and retrieve orders according to quantity, size, product type, collection, and other order specifications. Carefully package and protect large pieces of furniture for shipment and delivery. Build, organize, and wrap pallets according to company procedures. Position completed orders in designated staging and loading areas. Load trucks in an organized and secure manner.
