Delivery Driver Reports to: Assistant Manager / General Manager Job Summary As a Jimmy John’s Delivery Driver , you’ll be an important part of creating a great customer experience. Your primary responsibility is to deliver customers’ orders safely, accurately, courteously, and on time within the designated delivery area. When you’re not making deliveries, you’ll work as an In-Shop Team Member , helping prepare orders, serve customers, maintain the restaurant, and keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do Take phone orders and accurately complete delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner. Deliver sandwich orders safely, courteously, and efficiently within the designated delivery area. Verify orders for accuracy and ensure products meet Jimmy John’s quality standards before delivery. Accept customer payments and provide accurate change. Reconcile delivery cash with management at the end of each shift. Prepare fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches according to company standards. Follow all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures. Greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, and provide friendly customer service. Maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant, including tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, and other areas. Complete required systems and procedures with accuracy and integrity. Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the Jimmy John’s Dress Code. Bring a positive, enthusiastic attitude to every shift and assignment. Perform other duties as assigned by management. What We’re Looking For Must be at least 18 years old . Must have a valid driver’s license . Must have reliable transportation and current automobile insurance. Must maintain a clean driving record that meets company requirements. Must be able to communicate, read, and write English clearly and effectively. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, climb, and perform repetitive movements. Must be able to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds .
