Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are seeking reliable, responsible, and motivated Delivery Drivers to provide transportation and delivery services on an independent contractor (1099) basis. This is a contract-based opportunity, with assignments available depending on client needs, delivery routes, and ongoing projects. We are looking for dependable individuals who can complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and professionally. Work opportunities may include local deliveries, scheduled routes, last-mile deliveries, business-to-business deliveries, and other transportation assignments. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver packages, goods, or materials to designated locations. Complete assigned delivery routes safely and on time. Load and unload items when required. Follow delivery instructions and client requirements. Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, and customers. Handle packages and materials carefully to prevent damage. Follow traffic laws and safety procedures. Report delivery delays, issues, or incidents promptly. Perform other delivery-related tasks as required by each contract. Requirements Valid driver's license. Safe driving record. Reliable and punctual. Ability to follow directions and delivery instructions. Strong time management and communication skills. Ability to use GPS navigation and smartphone applications. Ability to lift and carry packages when required. Must be legally authorized to perform independent contractor work in the United States. Previous delivery or transportation experience is preferred but not required. Delivery assignments may require different vehicle types, including: Personal cars Minivans Cargo vans Box trucks Contract Details Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity. Assignments are offered based on available contracts and client demand. Work schedules and route availability may vary. No guaranteed minimum hours or assignments.
