Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques to ensure safety and efficiency during loading and unloading processes. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions. Maintain organized records of deliveries, route logs, and client communications for accountability and reporting purposes. Follow merchandising standards to ensure products are presented professionally upon delivery. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation. Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, sales techniques, and upselling methods. Excellent math skills for calculating delivery loads, distances, and billing details. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper safety protocols. Familiarity with retail store environments or merchandising is a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance basics, and safe driving practices. Strong organizational skills for managing deliveries efficiently and maintaining accurate documentation. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly.
