Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are seeking reliable Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers / Cargo Van Owner-Operators to provide last-mile delivery services for client customer orders and packages. This is a long-term contract delivery opportunity for independent contractors who own or have long-term access to a qualifying cargo van and are interested in completing assigned delivery routes. Contractors are responsible for providing their own qualifying vehicle, maintaining required insurance and registration, operating their vehicle safely, and managing their own business expenses and operating costs. Previous delivery experience is preferred, but training and route onboarding are available for qualified contractors who are new to last-mile delivery. Vehicle Requirements Cargo van required Mid-roof or high-roof cargo vans preferred Ford Transit 150/250, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and similar cargo vans welcome Vehicle must be clean, well-maintained, and free of significant damage Vehicle must have sufficient cargo capacity for the assigned route Valid vehicle registration and commercial/appropriate auto insurance required White or blue vehicles preferred Contractor is responsible for fuel, maintenance, repairs, and other vehicle operating expenses Independent Contractor Responsibilities Accept and complete assigned delivery routes in accordance with the applicable contractor agreement Pick up client customer orders and packages from designated locations Load, organize, and safely secure packages in the vehicle Plan and execute the assigned delivery route efficiently Deliver packages safely and accurately to customers Use GPS, navigation, and delivery applications to complete deliveries Scan packages and complete required electronic delivery procedures Provide Proof of Delivery (POD), including photographs when required Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery, customer, address, or route-related issues Follow applicable client and delivery-program safety and operational requirements Provide professional and courteous service to customers Complete the agreed-upon route and delivery requirements Maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition Promptly report delivery, vehicle, or operational issues that may affect route completion Contractor Qualifications & Skills Must be 18 years of age or older Valid U.S. driver's license Valid driver's license and required vehicle insurance Good driving record Legally authorized to work in the United States Own or have reliable long-term access to a qualifying cargo van Previous delivery, courier, logistics, or route-driving experience preferred Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, navigation, scanning, and delivery applications Strong organizational and time-management skills Able to independently plan and complete assigned routes Reliable and professional Strong attention to detail Good customer-service and communication skills Able to safely load, unload, and transport packages Physically capable of handling packages associated with the assigned route Able to operate independently and manage day-to-day vehicle and business expenses Contractor Schedule & Route Availability Long-term independent-contractor opportunity Routes may be available on multiple days throughout the week Contractors may select or accept available routes based on route availability and their business capacity Route volume, delivery locations, package counts, and estimated completion times may vary Contractors are responsible for determining their availability and accepting routes they are able to complete Consistent route availability may be available for qualified contractors depending on operational needs Why Work With Us?
