Owner operators with their own vans will have priority hiring. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and goods to various locations, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws Manage freight loading and unloading using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and secure placement Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately in company systems Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior throughout your shift Follow safety protocols during freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and driving to prevent accidents or damage Requirements Physical stamina to lift heavy packages, load/unload freight, and perform vehicle inspections Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers effectively Valid class 5 driver’s license Ability to pass back check Pay: $1,000.00-$1,500.00 per week Work Location: On the road
