Express ParcelPART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER Timmins → Cochrane / Iroquois Falls Area Express Parcel is looking for a reliable, responsible Part-Time Delivery Driver to run a regular route from Timmins to the Cochrane and Iroquois Falls area. Position Details Part-time position Approximately 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday Regular route from Timmins to Cochrane / Iroquois Falls Multi-stop deliveries and pickups Some days may run longer depending on the volume and delivery requirements Additional hours may be available for someone who is willing and able to stay longer when needed Requirements Valid G driver's licence Clean driver's abstract Safe and responsible driving record Reliable and punctual Comfortable driving Northern Ontario roads and in varying weather conditions Good customer service and communication skills Able to safely handle and deliver packages Previous delivery or courier experience is an asset We Are Looking For Someone Who: Takes pride in being reliable and on time Is comfortable working independently Treats customers and coworkers respectfully Can follow route and delivery instructions Is flexible when the day runs longer than expected Understands that delivery times and workload can vary from day to day This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady part-time hours, with the potential for additional hours when business needs require it. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, secure, and unload freight Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality. Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation to ensure accuracy before dispatch. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to confirm delivery schedules or resolve issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure vehicle reliability. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, freight handling, and equipment usage for accountability and reporting purposes. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate tools and techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning. Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.
