Delivery Driver Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team and operate a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. This is a local driving position with routes throughout the Oklahoma City area. No overnight or long-haul travel—you will be home every night. Drivers will work as part of a two-person team to safely complete scheduled deliveries and transportation assignments. Responsibilities may include driving, assisting with loading and unloading, securing cargo, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable with early-morning start times. No CDL is required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Duties ● Operate a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate on local routes. ● Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing freight. ● Safely secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit. ● Use the lift gate, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items. ● Verify delivery addresses, quantities, and paperwork. ● Obtain customer signatures and document completed deliveries. ● Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules. ● Provide courteous and professional customer service. ● Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area. ● Report vehicle issues, delivery problems, or damaged freight promptly. ● Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
