Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Job Description Template Our company is looking for an out of town Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. Responsibilities: Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck; Operating forklifts safely and responsibly; Responding to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional manner; Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse; Pack custom orders, pulling inventory from shelves, ensuring courier pick up; Communicate with purchasing agents to discuss any issues with the quality of items received and organize a replacement; Create shipping orders and labels; Fill out waybills for all outgoing shipments; Organize warehouse space; Keep shipping/receiving areas neat and clean; Other tasks as required; Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures. Requirements: Good organizational skills; Forklift experience preferred (we will train if necessary); Superior attention to detail; Be able to work quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment; Valid driver’s license; serving as a backup driver when needed Working at heights preferred; Able to lift 50 to 100 lbs on a regular basis; Delivery Driver Responsibilities Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Ask for feedback on provided services Collect payments perioidically Inform customers about new products and services Complete logs and reports Follow all safety standards Requirements and skills Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver Valid professional driver’s license Ability to operate forklifts Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week Work Location: In person
