Delivery driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and organized Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently to various locations while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for building maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of company facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, a professional attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner Ensure accurate and complete delivery of orders, verifying recipient details and securing packages during transit Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly Assist with building maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs or upkeep of company premises Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe deliveries and maintain a safe working environment Keep detailed records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address inquiries Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage Qualifications Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation skills Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good physical condition with the ability to lift and carry packages as needed Basic understanding of building maintenance or willingness to learn minor repair tasks Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality service Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Work Location: In person
