Delivery Driver

Job Overview La Prima Catering is seeking dedicated delivery drivers - both full and part time. Drivers must be personable, organized, and detail oriented. Experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right person. Duties include, but are not limited to, setting up, running and breakdown of catering orders from small business meetings with minimal food to large groups with full meals. Since this position includes direct contact with customers, individual will also need to be available to answer questions and assist customers and guests in whatever way necessary. Must have the ability to work well independently as well as a member of the team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management. Responsibilities include: Greet and be courteous to customers Work with management and all other associates to provide a high level of customer service Be punctual, work your schedule, and conduct yourself in a professional business manner at all times Wear company uniform as outlined by Management Assist as needed and as directed to provide for a clean and safe store environment Must be well groomed/clean shaven Loading food and equipment for into company van for delivery Delivering and setting up food and beverage as directed by client Mapping delivery routes according to scheduled runs Completing deliveries efficiently and on time Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Good communication skills, upbeat and positive attitude Ensure client satisfaction Driving knowledge of Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area and the surrounding suburbs Make deliveries in a pleasant, timely manner according to Company and Department standards Provide the Company with current driving record and license and keep it up-to-date with HR We work in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia.
