Role Description The Delivery Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Hampstead, MD. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food orders to customers, ensuring orders are accurate, properly packaged, and delivered on time. Day-to-day tasks include loading orders, navigating delivery routes, handling payments when required, and providing courteous, professional service at each stop. The Delivery Driver helps maintain a clean and organized vehicle, follows food safety and company delivery procedures, and communicates with the restaurant team about order status or delivery issues. This position may also assist with basic in-store duties such as helping with order staging, supporting front-of-house staff during busy periods, and participating in training to stay current on policies and menu offerings. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with guests and team members. Experience in Food & Beverage environments, with an understanding of basic food safety and handling practices. Sales and upselling abilities to promote menu items and specials during deliveries when appropriate. Training experience or willingness to learn and follow established procedures and support onboarding of new team members. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Reliable transportation if using a personal vehicle, or ability to operate company vehicles as directed. Ability to lift and carry food orders, navigate stairs, and stand or drive for extended periods. Strong time management, basic math skills for handling payments, and attention to detail in order accuracy. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous delivery or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required.
